Open filter by sliding off the pump section of the filter housing and cleaning or replacing the filter sponges. Only clean the filter sponges with clean mains water and never cleaning fluid, as this will harm the fish and plants in the aquarium. To clean the pump rotor, remove the protective plate and take out the rotor and magnet, clean everything carefully with clean water (be careful not to break the magnet and shaft) before putting eveything back together again.
Safety
- Never let the filter run dry - keep it submerged at all times.
- For indoor use only.
- Disconnect from the power supply before reaching into the water of the aquarium.
- Never shorten or extend the wire.
- If thwe wire, plug and/or pump housing is damamged in any way, do not activate the filter.
- Regular cleaning is important for a long service life.
